Kundalini Yoga is a form of yoga that involves Chanting, breathing exercises, and repetitive poses. This is the spiritual energy that is said to be located at the base of your spine. Kundalini energy is like that coiled snake: it sits at the base of your spine, sleeping. Kundalini yoga is practised to activate this energy, which allows it to move up and through the chakras along your spine. Compared to another form of yoga kundalini yoga is a more spiritual practice and also helps you connect with yourself through a set of practices, like meditation, mantras, breathing exercises, and certain postures. The sensation of ‘energy’ moving or trapped within certain parts of the body, often involving chakra points. This process may become in some way ‘visible’ to the experiencer. The energy feels unbearably strong or painful, often accompanied by shaking, jerking, or spam.
